Prvo što dete nauči je to kako držati pribor za jelo i odmah zatim olovku. Dok za pribor treba malo vremena, za olovku nam treba dosta vežbanja. Čim uhvate boju, deca počinju da šaraju po papiru, ali likovi nisu prepoznatljivi. To su uglavnom linije i tačkice, do treće godine. U tom dobu sa crtanjem deca vežbaju kružne pokrete šake, a s druge strane dete dobija svest da nešto stvara. Od treće godine crtež dobija prepoznatljive oblike, mada su u početku dosta izobličeni. Sa četiri godine crteži su mnogo prepoznatljiviji. Mada će ljudskoj figuri verovatno faliti neki detalj, osnovni elementi će uglavnom biti na svom mestu. Izmedju pet i sedam godina crteži postaju slikovitiji i imaju više motiva. Crteži su simboli onoga sto dete vidi, a ne realna slika. Zato svaki uzrast zahteva poseban pristup.

 

Boje vrlo dobro utiču na zdravlje i psihu dece. Crtanje je osnovna ljudska aktivnost koja se prirodno razvija kod deteta i ono može da služi kao snažno sredstvo za razvoj dečije percepcije, mišljenja i veština koje se poboljšavaju kroz vežbanje. Crtanje podrazumeva dobru grafomotoriku (sposobnost držanja olovke, pisanja slova i brojeva). Kroz crtanje u igri stimuliše se razvoj veština kao sto su: fina motorika, pažnja, koordinacija oko-ruka, prostorno planiranje na papiru, vizuelna memorija i druge veštine. Dete unosi u crtež svoje emocije, misli i želje i to je najiskreniji način izražavanja. U našoj likovnoj radionici negovaćemo kreativnost, dečiju stvaralačku slobodu, upoznavaće svet oko sebe, uočavaće detalje, vežbaće koncentraciju i motoriku.
